No referral is needed. You can book directly with CAS Medical for GP consultations, health assessments, and the majority of services. When a specialist referral is clinically appropriate, Dr Sockalingam will arrange this on your behalf through our established networks.
Yes. Appointments are available at the primary clinic at Clinetix in Bothwell, with additional consultation access across East Kilbride and Stirling. Please indicate your preferred location when booking and we will match you to the most convenient available slot.
The majority of blood test results are returned within 72 hours. Dr Sockalingam personally reviews every result and follows up with you directly — ensuring your findings are explained clearly, in context, and with a clear outline of any recommended actions.
A full health assessment at CAS Medical is a comprehensive, head-to-toe clinical review conducted personally by Dr Sockalingam. It includes: Physical measurements covering height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, BMI calculation and cardiovascular risk profile scoring. Full clinical examination of the cardiovascular, respiratory, abdominal, orthopaedic, dermatological, ENT and neurological systems. Functional testing including basic spirometry for lung function, urinalysis and a resting 12-lead ECG with clinical interpretation. Comprehensive blood panel covering full blood count, eosinophils, liver function tests (LFTs), thyroid function tests (TFTs), vitamin B12, folate, ferritin, liver profile and HbA1c. A personal written health report with prioritised findings and a clear action plan discussed directly with Dr Sockalingam. The assessment can be modified to suit individual preference or clinical risk profile. Additional panels and specialist investigations can be added where clinically relevant.
All appointments are extended — typically 30 minutes and extended 60 minutes. This is intentional. Unlike a standard NHS consultation, there is enough time to cover your health history properly, explore concerns in depth, and leave with a genuine understanding of your next steps.
Yes. CAS Medical offers two routes for businesses looking to invest in their team’s health. The first is an annual health assessment programme, where employees receive a comprehensive head-to-toe clinical review each year. This covers physical measurements, full systemic examination, spirometry, urinalysis, ECG and a comprehensive blood panel, with a personal written health report provided to each individual. It is particularly well suited to businesses wanting to reduce absenteeism, support key personnel and demonstrate a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing. The second is a corporate membership plan, giving employees ongoing access to private GP consultations, fast-track appointments, priority booking and clinical support throughout the year. Plans can be tailored to team size, industry and budget, with options available for SMEs through to larger organisations.
